In an interview with Kamran Shahid on his programme, Frontline, on Express TV, when in answer to a question President Asif Ali Zardari referred to the North-West Frontier Province (N.W.F.P.) of Pakistan as Pakhtunkhwa, the interviewer asked him if this meant that we could expect the NWFP to be renamed as Pakhtunistan? At 11:10 pm on 27 November 2009 the President replied: Godwilling, you will soon hear good news on this (in Urdu).
